Santos Tour Down Under
Barossa will once again take centre stage when the Santos Tour Down Under (TDU) returns on Wednesday, 20 January 2027, with Race Day 2 starting and finishing in Angaston for the first time in 13 years.
Riders will tackle 145.6 kilometers through some of the region's most picturesque towns and landscapes, including Bethany, Greenock, Nuriootpa and Tanunda. The route features two sprint points in Tanunda, three descents of the iconic Menglers Hill and multiple opportunities to see the peloton pass through both Angaston and Tanunda.
The stage will culminate in an uphill battle to the finish along Murray Street, Angaston, placing even the peloton's fastest riders under pressure and promising an exciting finale for spectators.

Race Day 2: Point to Point
Race Day 2 of the Santos Tour Down Under will showcase the Barossa, visiting Angaston, Bethany, Greenock, Nuriootpa and Tanunda. With three descents of Menglers Hill and multiple passes in Angaston, Nuriootpa and Tanunda, spectators will have plenty of vantage points to experience the action up close.
