Fire danger season Fire Danger Season has been declared for 1 December 2025 to 30 April 2026. Firewood collection Collection from our roadsides and reserves is illegal. Please follow collection advice and think carefully about where your firewood timber is being sourced from. Prepare your home and property Prepare your home and property all year-round, but prioritise maintenance during the Fire Danger Season. Your bushfire survival plan A bushfire survival plan should outline the actions you will need to undertake should a bushfire threaten the area.
