2026 Barossa Food and Wine Village

Barossa Food and Wine Village was a feast of flavour, fun, and footy in the heart of the Barossa.

When the final siren sounded at Barossa Park on Saturday, 11 April 2026 the party was just getting started as Tanunda’s main street transformed into the ultimate post-match destination with food, wine and entertainment.

From the kids to the grownups, footy fans and lovers of food and wine, the Barossa Food & Wine Village was a fully accessible, open access event with something for everyone.

Attendees enjoyed a feast for the senses as local restaurants, cafes and cellar doors took to the street with alfresco dining and drinks, joined by pop-up vendors dishing up an array of flavours.

Wine enthusiasts savoured the best of the Barossa at the dedicated wine village, where local cellar doors poured the region’s finest. Those after something different found brewers and distillers serving cocktails, craft beers and refreshing spirits.

The fun didn’t stop with food and drink; families enjoyed kids’ activities and sports fans didn’t miss a moment with live viewing of the footy action on the big screen. Adelaide indie pop band, The Tullamarines, headlined the entertainment, supported by local live artists and DJ Alex Hosking, who kept the vibes and atmosphere high.

Barossa Food and Wine Village was the ultimate way to celebrate the Festival of Footy in true Barossa style.

2026 Drinks Line-Up

The 2026 Barossa Food & Wine Village brought together some of Barossa's best wine, beer and spirits, showcasing the diversity of the region through one vibrant village experience.

The dedicated Wine Village zone was proudly supported by AP John Cooperage and provided visitors with the opportunity to discover and sample a curated selection of boutique Barossa wineries in one convenient location.

Murray Street’s local traders joined the 2026 celebration, extending their offerings into the street and contributing to a vibrant festival atmosphere filled with alfresco dining, drinks and warm Barossa hospitality.

2026 Main Stage Entertainment

Following the final siren at Barossa Park, the celebrations continued in Tanunda with live music, DJs and festival entertainment in the heart of the Barossa.

Alex Hosking opened the Main Stage entertainment with a live DJ set from 3:30pm to 8:00pm, bringing a high-energy atmosphere throughout the afternoon and into the evening.

Adelaide indie-pop band The Tullamarines, headlined the 2026 event, performing from 8:15pm to 9:15pm and closing the celebrations with feel-good live music.

The Main Stage Entertainment zone was proudly supported by Rehn Bier, Seppeltsfield Road Distillers and Forage Supply Co.

2026 Live & Local Acoustic Stage

The 2026 Live & Local Acoustic Stage showcased talented artists from across the Barossa region, providing live acoustic entertainment throughout the afternoon and into the evening.

The 2026 performance schedule included:

Amelie C 5:50pm to 6:50pm

Ruby Triplett 7:00pm to 8:00pm

2026 Kids & Family Entertainment

Beyond the food, wine and music, the 2026 Barossa Food & Wine Village featured a wide range of interactive entertainment and activities for visitors of all ages.

Bring Me Magic, provided face painting and balloon art, adding colour, creativity and family-friendly fun to the event.

Circus Elements delivered roving entertainment throughout the village, with engaging performances that surprised and delighted visitors across the day.

Footy fans tested their skills in the SANFL inflatable kick zone, while the Coles Healthy Kicks zone offered fun, football-inspired activities designed to keep children active and engaged.

Central District Football Club also joined the 2026 event, bringing a strong local football presence and contributing to the Festival of Footy atmosphere.

Bazinga Cards, Collectibles and Arcade offered a selection of AFL football cards and other collectibles for fans to browse and purchase.

Two large screens broadcast AFL matches live throughout the afternoon and into the evening, allowing visitors to follow the football action while enjoying the village atmosphere. The 2026 big-screen viewing zones were proudly supported by gold sponsors Yalumba and Central District Football Club.

Visitors also had the rare opportunity to see and hold the Brisbane Lions back-to-back premiership cups. During their special appearance at the 2026 Barossa Food & Wine Village, fans were able to hold the trophies, take photographs and experience an important piece of sporting history up close.

Whether visitors were taking a break between performances, entertaining the children or enjoying the festival atmosphere, activities and entertainment could be found throughout the 2026 event.
