The Barossa Council is committed to fostering a thriving events environment by providing clear guidance, practical support, and collaborative opportunities for organisers.

Whether you're planning an event on public or private land, applying for sponsorship, or looking to engage with major events such as the Tour Down Under or Gather Round 2026, this page brings together everything you need to get started. Our aim is to make hosting events in the Barossa simple, safe and successful, while celebrating the experiences that make our region unique.

Event Support and Sponsorship

In 2026–27, we will launch a dedicated Events Grants Program to encourage events that attract visitors, increase overnight stays, and boost spending in the Barossa region.

Street flags are bringing colour and activation to our town centres in Angaston, Nuriootpa, Tanunda, Lyndoch, Mount Pleasant and Williamstown, creating a sense of local pride and promoting regional vibrancy.
