Recycling
We are seeking to reduce the amount of waste going into landfill each year by asking all residents to place recyclable materials in your yellow or green bins.
We encourage you to join us in creating a more sustainable future by taking part in the challenge to Waste Less, Recycle More.
Collectively, we can achieve our decreased landfill targets and a more sustainable future. For recycling and waste management queries, please visit the 'Which Bin' website.

What happens to the materials in the yellow recycling bin?
Materials from the yellow recycling bin are taken to NAWMA - a material recycling facility in Edinburgh North, South Australia. Barossa residents are welcome to book a free community tour of the facility to see recycling in action. Book online here or call NAWMA on (08) 8259 2100.
“When residents separate recyclables correctly, it allows facilities like NAWMA to recover valuable materials for reuse, like the HDPE plastics which are repurposed into the furniture we’re now enjoying in our parks and playgrounds,”
