Tanunda Kegel Club

We’re rebuilding the Tanunda Kegel Club clubrooms located at Tanunda Recreation Park at a cost of $235,000.

We’ve been working closely with the Kegel Club and a heritage architect to ensure we retain the heritage characteristics of the clubhouse in the new build. The new building will have the same footprint and design as the existing State-heritage listed building, with the addition of a verandah at the front and a new detached accessible toilet.

The heritage architect has consulted with Heritage SA to ensure the upgraded building will meet State heritage requirements, and materials have been chosen to match the current building including galvanized iron roof, beige weatherboard exterior and retention of the trademark timber sliding doors.

We’re also making a number of internal improvements to enhance the functionality of the kitchen and improve accessibility.
