Bethany Road Tanunda, Road Upgrade has been awarded to Stabilised Pavements of Australia and the purpose of the works is to improve the management of stormwater and improve road safety.

The scope of works includes:

The upgrade of 1.0km of Bethany Road

  • Lime stabilisation of existing sub grade
  • Cement stabilisation of existing granular pavement including road shoulders
  • New 8m wide 14/7mm double coat spray seal, line marking for a nominated lane width of 3.5m
  • Upgrade of underground stormwater infrastructure at the Biscay Road intersection

The upgrade of 90m of Biscay Road

  • Pavement construction including granular overlay and cement stabilisation
  • New 6m wide 14/7mm double coat spray seal and line marking of the approach to the intersection
