Proposed change to Town of Gawler boundaries

The Town of Gawler has proposed to include within its boundaries seven areas currently in Light Regional Council, The Barossa Council, and the City of Playford. The proposal also includes moving two areas from the Town of Gawler to the City of Playford.

Consultation has been extended until 6 September and you are invited to have your say about the proposal.

This process is being facilitated by the South Australian Local Government Boundaries Commission (the Commission). This is an independent body responsible for investigating proposals to change council boundaries and making recommendations to the Minister for Local Government.
