National Volunteer Week recognition

A thank you event for National Volunteer Week has celebrated the tireless efforts of those who contribute to Council led programs.

This year's theme of "Connecting Communities" was never more evident when over 130 people sat down together at Barossa Park to enjoy lunch and each other's company.

Mayor Lange presented Certificates of Recognition to long serving volunteers including: Mignon and Peter Sich, Nuriootpa Pool Working Group,10 years; Malcolm Linke and Bev Dutschke, Community Transport, 15 years; Les Hampel, Community Transport, 25 years; Di Smith, Barossa Regional Gallery, 10 Years; Ray Duance, Barossa Bushgardens Committee, 25 years; Jean Fulwood, Barossa Regional Gallery, 10 Years; Janet and Max Krause, Barossa Bushgardens,15 years.
