Culinary creativity at Angaston café
24 Feb 2026Seasonal produce, thoughtful nourishment and a strong sense of community is the inspiration behind COCO Kitchen.
Owned and run by Jamie and Holly Wall, COCO Kitchen has quickly become a standout on Angaston’s main street, offering a fresh, modern approach to café dining in the Barossa.
Jamie says the café’s point of difference lies in its vibrant, modern flavours and commitment to making most of its food in-house.
“Our goal was to create a café that feels a little different to everything else in the Barossa,” says Jamie. “We love fresh, modern food trends and enjoy experimenting with flavour while still keeping things balanced.”
Jamie brings extensive culinary experience to COCO Kitchen, having previously worked as Head Chef at Appellation and Executive Chef at Harvest Kitchen. Holly complements this with her background in nutrition, creating a menu where flavour meets intention.
“Holly’s focus is on nourishment and looking after yourself, while my background is fine dining and hospitality,” Jamie says. “Together, it works really well.”
Since opening just over a year ago, COCO Kitchen has evolved beyond a café, branching out into catering for external functions and events, including corporate gatherings, weddings, and bridal party breakfasts. What began as a natural extension of their café offering has become a growing part of the business.
The warm, welcoming space reflects the couple’s attention to detail and belief that food should make you feel good. Whether locals are stopping by for a quick coffee or visitors are settling in for brunch, COCO Kitchen has become a place to gather, connect and enjoy good food.
Jamie believes Angaston’s food culture is continuing to grow and gain recognition.
“We love being part of Angaston and contributing to its community,” he says. “There’s so much to offer here, and we want COCO to be a place where everyone feels welcome.”
COCO Kitchen is open daily from 7am to 2pm.
