The Angas Recreation Park will see the installation of 1 new Junior Oval and 4 x new Cricket Nets, to meet Cricket Australia Community Cricket guidelines, including all associated civil and landscaping infrastructure.
The Junior Oval provides additional playing surface to relieve pressure on training traffic and game day use for both football and cricket. Junior cricket membership has doubled in five years and growth is expected at club, association and Regional level.
The club can meet this growing grassroots participation with availability of a second playing surface, along with upgraded clubrooms and changerooms expanded. This will also increase the capacity to attract regional events such as country championships and WBBL.
