Subsidiaries
The Barossa Council is a party to three subsidiary entities:
- Nuriootpa Centennial Park Authority Charter, which operates the Nuriootpa Centennial Park, Coulthard Reserve and Barossa Tourist Park on our behalf. Whilst there is a level of autonomy, the Authority is answerable to the full Council.
- Northern and Yorke Local Government Association - a Local Government Association established to undertake regional approval to advocacy as well as specifically approving cross-organisational projects and strategies.
- Gawler River Floodplain Management Authority - established with 5 other Councils to assist in the management of the floodplain and the risks associated with the catchment.
