Accessing disability services

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) with support from its Community Partners help people living with disability to make community connections, and if eligible, access funding under the Scheme.

NDIS local area coordinators and early childhood partners can help all people with disability, including NDIS participants, their families and carers to find the supports you need to be more independent and do more of the things you enjoy in your local area. Your NDIS partner will help you connect with supports in your community even if you are not eligible for the NDIS.

Early Childhood Connections or Community Connections can include things like:

• Help to access information.
• How to access mainstream and community supports, or peer groups.
• If you’re eligible, help to apply to the NDIS.

The Disability Gateway helps people with disability, their families and carers find the information, services and support they need in Australia.

Kudos Services is the NDIS Partner in South Australia delivering the early childhood approach for children younger than 6 with developmental concerns and delay or children younger than 9 with disability and their families, helping them to access the right support when they need it, through Early Connections or NDIS Access Requests.

Local Area Coordination

Feros Care is the NDIS Partner in The Barossa Council area. They provide support to people living with disability through Community Connections, and if eligible, NDIS Access Requests. Community connections are available to people with disability aged 9 to 64 years and living in Australia regardless of their citizenship or visa status.
