Nuriootpa Oval - Sports Lighting Upgrade

We’re excited to share that CSJ Electrical has been appointed to deliver a major sports lighting upgrade at the Main Oval in Nuriootpa Centennial Park. The project will see the installation of four new light towers fitted with modern, energy-efficient LED fixtures, providing 300 lux illumination on the center wicket, achieving Cricket’s recommended lighting standard for local club competition and supporting evening training and community events.

This important project has been made possible through funding support from The Barossa Council, the Nuriootpa Rover Football Club, and grant funding from the Office for Recreation, Sport and Racing, and the South Australian Cricket Association. We’re grateful for the shared commitment of these partners in helping to enhance local sporting facilities.

Construction is expected to commence by the end of November 2025 and be completed by March 2026. All works will be carried out with no impact to the playing surface, ensuring the oval remains open for use during the upgrade.
