Since its establishment in 1946—just after World War II RSL Tanunda Sub-Branch has been a cornerstone of support, remembrance, and camaraderie for veterans and their families. Officially incorporated on September 3, 1958, we remain dedicated to meeting the Objects and Charter of the Returned and Services League Australia, ensuring the memory and records of those who suffered or died for our nation are preserved with dignity and respect.
We have 90+ members, some of whom are Australian Defence Force Veterans called Service members and others who are Affiliate members.
Ours is a non-commercial venture relying on public donations and occasional government grants to operate. We obtain our revenue by sales made at our Hut bar, from memorabilia sales four days per year and three Mitre 10 Sausage Sizzles.
As an incorporated association we have a Management Committee consisting of elected volunteers: President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary (the Executive) and four Committee Members.
