We are excited to share that Springton Playground is getting an upgrade, inspired by the wonderful ideas and feedback from our local community. The renewed space will feature brand-new play equipment designed to engage children of all ages.
Families can look forward to a new BBQ, perfect for relaxed get-togethers and community catch-ups, along with extra fencing to make the park safer and more user-friendly. To top it all off, there’ll be beautiful new landscaping, upgraded footpaths, and natural play features like large rocks and logs that invite kids to climb, explore, and play, or simply offer a comfy spot to sit and enjoy the surroundings.
We’re also introducing inclusive communication signage, to enable visitors to better engage in playground chat with individuals who use alternative communication methods, including Auslan, something we’re proud to be introducing - with plans to roll it out to more playgrounds in the future.
